In our Young Disciples Sunday School classes, we seek to make disciples who are growing in their love of God and His Word. Children aren’t just the “future church,” they are members of the current church – the body of Christ. And if our ministry isn’t cultivating that position as part of the church family, we are really doing our children a disservice in their spiritual growth. And, we are cutting off our congregation from the valuable contributions from this group of believers.

Because kids are part of the current church, it is just as important – maybe more – that they are discipled as it is for the adults. For this reason, our Primaries & Juniors classes focus on teaching kids to navigate, interpret, understand, and apply the scripture in a real and life-changing way. We want kids to engage hands-on with the Bible, because we believe it has the power to change their hearts and minds to be like Christ.

There are two Young Disciples classes: Primaries (Grades K-2) and Juniors (Grades 3-6)
