We have made a new Family Discipleship Kit that guides families through the book of Jonah, and it starts on January 3!
“A Journey in Jonah” is set up like a game board and challenges families to read a verse and answer a question each day for the rest of the month of January. Pastor John’s sermon for Sunday, January 3: “Seeing Jesus in the Stories: Jonah and the Huge Fish” is the kick-off for this study.
If you would like a gameboard and stickers for this month’s Family Discipleship Kit, we are doing a special “Pajama Ride Pick Up” on Sunday evening. (A “pajama ride” is when the kids dress in their pjs a little before bedtime, grab their favorite blanket or stuffed animal, and get in the car for a short ride -- usually ending in a drive-through treat.)
We invite families to pajama ride over to church between 6:30p.m. and 7:30p.m. on Sunday, January 3 so that you can pick up your Family Discipleship Kit drive through style (socially distanced and with masks!). You will receive a game board, sheet of stickers, and a SPECIAL HOMEMADE TREAT! We hope that this will be a fun and easy way for you to receive a hard copy of the Family Discipleship Kit for the next month!
