Gwen Pierce and her husband, George, went to Thailand with New Tribes Mission in 1969.  They were involved with evangelism, church planting, teaching and Bible translation among the Pwo Karen tribal group.  Gwen was George’s “right hand man” down through the years of ministry.  In December of 2004 George passed away and Gwen now lives with her daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Richard Rees.  She helps with translation checking for the team and is a full time Granny.
