Our Primaries class focuses teaching kids to:

  • Memorize the Books of the Bible: We sing songs, play games, and quiz each other as we get to know our way around God’s word.
  • Explore Theology: We are memorizing Tim Keller’s New City Catechism together, and learn new theological terms together
  • Study the Bible: We open our Bibles together to study God’s word as we work expositionally (chapter by chapter) through books of the Bible.
  • Learn to Pray: We write in prayer journals to help us focus our thoughts, and use intentional templates to help us remember to worship God while we pray, as well as ask him for things.
  • Reinforce Spiritual Habits: We work together to learn what it means to be Christ-like through studying the beatitudes and what they look like in our daily life. We also serve each other by cleaning up our classroom and learning to be humble and kind.
