Katie Moore

Katie Moore serves on a team ministering to a Nahuatl tribe in Las Moras, Mexico.  The Nahuatl are descendants of the ancient Aztecs and their language has brought such words as “tomato” and “avocado” to English.  The team has received a warm welcome from the people of their village and are building relationships and learning the language.  They are also involved in meeting the people’s physical needs by bringing in dentists and doctors, providing a way for villagers to make money, and offering warm clothes and blankets to those who need them.  They are motivated to show the love of Christ as they learn the language enough to clearly communicate the gospel.

Katie has several roles to fill on the team.  She is involved in the education of her co-worker’s children, teaches an English class to the tribal kids, and is working on learning Nahuatl in order to disciple the village women.  She is extremely grateful to her churches and supporters in the U.S. who make her ministry possible.  To see more information, subscribe to her updates by writing .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or check out her blog at http://www.ntm.org/katie_moore.
